Consumers and businesses alike are noticing the effects of corporate social responsibility. This has grown from a differential competitive advantage to a must have for the business world. A growing trend of individuals and organisations want to give back to the community and demonstrate their positive impact on society recognising that Social Corporate Responsibility is no longer a fad but an imperative.
In 2007, Cyrenians Chief Executive, Des Ryan, was presented with the Marks & Spencer Sieff Award for his business acumen and drive in working with the private sector to deliver training and employment programme to help homeless and socially excluded individuals.
You can help the charity in many ways including:
- Offering pro-bono use of your company's core business skills and services
- Business sponsorship
- Specific business task support
- Help in kind
- Full or part time secondments
- Team Charity challenges
- Offering a route to employment or training for one of Trainees by offering a workplace experience
- Make the Cyrenians Good Food Programme your charity of the year
- Work with our staff to deliver an enjoyable and successful fundraising event
- Deliver a corporate event
- Involvement in volunteering (one shift a week driving the refrigerated van or volunteering at the depot)

- Organic produce and free range eggs from the farm - organize a regular delivery to your place of work
